Pressed cocoa cake is an industry term, not a dessert. It is the dense, solid material left in the press after part of the cocoa butter has been extracted from cocoa mass.
Depending on the specification, the pressed cake may be milled further into cocoa powder. In its whole form it is used mostly by food manufacturers as a raw material.
Cocoa mass is 100% ground cocoa, containing cocoa solids and naturally occurring cocoa butter. It contains no alcohol.
